15 June 2015 : 19 weeks - Trip to Pangkor Laut

It's been a long time since our last vacation so I decided to have a short getaway somewhere locally. I've been seeing spectacular view at Pangkor Laut Resort from friends' pictures so I was planning to bring my husband there; as a belated birthday treat ;) I was about 5-month pregnant at that time and I still able to enjoy the trip.

Initial plan was just for two of us; I already booked the hotel there and applied for leave (as that was the only week left with cheaper rate before Ramadhan starts). I took the Residents' package which comes with meal onboard and free boat transfer. I calculated if I don't take the package, the cost will be more expensive as the meal there is not cheap, and the boat transfer (two-ways) alone is already RM320 for two of us. I booked the cheapest available room - Garden Villa; cheap because it's with the least privacy I think? Then husband was thinking to ask mama & papa if they want to join us; as mama will finish her exam the week before the trip. It's a good time to unwind right?

On the first day, we went for a short trip around Pangkor Island in the morning.

We were at Dutch Fort, Pangkor Island

After finished our short tour in Pangkor Island, we took a ferry back to Marina Island and get ready to board a boat to Pangkor Laut.

Pama & Mama's room (Beach Villa).
I gatal2 requested for a surprise wedding anniversary decorations so here it is!
...and my room (Garden Villa upgraded to Sea Villa)!
This one I requested for husband's belated birthday surprise :p
Yeah, the trip is actually my treat for him.
Our first meal after arrived there at Uncle Lim's Kitchen.
The food is undoubtedly delicious ;)
Morning view from my room :) Superbly spectacular!
Jungle Walk with Resident Naturalist (included in the package)

the finishing line is at Emerald Bay
I was 5-month pregnant and carrying triplets,
I survived 500m jungle walk :D
We had lunch at Chapman's, overlooking Emerald Bay
Posing at Emerald Bay ;)
Mak Buyung was dipping into the sea :p

Our last day there; waiting for boat transfer back to Marina Island

Some pictures for memory. Did you see my tummy now?

We left the island with heavy hearts....

We had a pleasant stay there with good food and good company. Totally worth it. I can't come back coz the room policy there doesn't allow more than 1 child/room. Even worse, the room that I stayed (Sea Villa) only allows 2 adults >12 years old. And obviously I'll have 3 babies when I give birth the triplets :D

....till then Pangkor Laut!
