When we first got married, we had a thought that it might be better for us to get to know each other for the first year before getting a baby, coz you know, I only knew my husband for a short while before tying the knot. We kinda go with the flow up until the fifth month post wedding, we started to feel like we are ready to get a baby.
From my family side, there's no pressure at all since I'm the eleventh child (out of twelve), and my kids will be the 30+th grandchildren in the family. There were some hints from my sisters, but I just pretend like I didn't get the hints :p
At that time, no successful attempt so far, till my father-in-law started to investigate whether we have fertility problem (i know he wanted new babies so bad :p ). He wanted to scan my tummy to see if I have cyst that preventing me from getting pregnant. He found none :D For me and hubby, we still feel it's still early to find out whether we need fertility treatment etc. Papa gave me clomid to consume, just to increase the chance of getting pregnant. I took it for about 3 menstrual cycles then I stopped coz papa had just retired that time, for he has to go to the clinic to get the meds.
I noticed that my mens cycle was kinda distrupted after taking clomid. Usually I have about 5-6 days mens, but that time, I only had about 3 days. I was wondering why but I didn't do any check-up, I just stopped from consuming clomid. Sometimes it gets delayed for 2-3 days but I didn't bother to use UPT to test coz I'm afraid that I'll get disappointed to find out the result. Coz there was one time I checked with UPT, the result was negative and I got my mens the day after :\
Soon after, I met my high school friend, Sheera and checked out whether she's already pregnant. coz we got married on the same date :p Surprisingly, she conveyed a good news saying that she just got pregnant...after a lot of pressure from her mom. haha. It's so funny that her mom brought her n her husband to get meds from a chinese sensei, it turned out that she was already pregnant even before taking the meds. I wasn't lucky yet at that time and still trying naturally. Sheera wanted to pass the meds that her mom bought to me, maybe it can help me a bit. So yeah, I gave it a try.
