25 Oct 2015 - Discharge from hospital

We got a lot of visitors within these 2 days coz everyone was so excited to meet the triplets (but they actually got to meet twins since Aydan was in NICU and no visitor allowed).

Aydina & Aysar in my hands, leaving TMC

On the way back home

(temporary home, tumpang kakfarah & anjon's)

I was actually quite stressed to bf the babies coz I feel like I don't have enough milk for them. In fact, my gynae already told me that there are possibilities that I need to mix-feeding the babies with formula milk since there are three of them. As a first-time mother, I look forward to fully bf the babies, but yeah...I need to take care of my mental health too. I admit that there are times that I feel so stress and restless, coz you know, taking care of a baby is not easy and it's 3x challenging for me coz I'm having triplets.

23 Oct 2015 : 37 weeks - D-day

Today is the day; Friday 23 Oct 2015, 10 Muharram (Hari Asyura). I am nervous. Dr Arifah asked me to fast starting 5am and come to hospital at 8am. Procedure will be at 11am. Wuwuwuuu mixed feelings. To be honest, I'm scared. haha. Macam2 pikir...taubat n minta maaf siap2 from all T_T

So we arrived at TMC as scheduled. Pilih single room yg biasa but not available, so terpaksa la amik single executive. Actually tak banyak beza pun pricewise. Then naik wheelchair pergi kat ward (padahal larat lagi nak jalan, saja mengada :p ). Nurses buat ECG on me to monitor babies' heartbeat. Berselirat wayar on my tummy coz ada 3 babies :'D

Single exec room at TMC
1 for mommy, 3 for babies :D

Then Dr Arifah minta nurse bawak I pergi her clinic prior to surgery. Sampai je klinik dia, she greeted me and said "terharu pulak saya". Lol. I terharu gak coz manage to extend my pregnancy till 37week 1day. Dari awal dulu banyak kali she highlighted to me that I have risk of premature labour (and many more risks for multiple pregnancy). Alhamdulillah Allah protected me and my babies till they are mature enough....sangat bersyukur. She scanned me for the last time before my babies go live :D
Since my baby girl sat at the bottom of my womb, Dr Arifah planned to pull her first....So she'll be Triplet #1 @ kakak, followed by Triplet #2 @ abang and Triplet #3 @ adik.

I went back to the ward before nurses push my bed to the operation theatre. Sempat jumpa mama papa in the ward, they will be waiting for us sambil mengaji minta dipermudahkan. Wuuu sedih sangat rasa and nervous tak habis2. I will go to the battle field to take out the babies. Ok, lagi cuak. The time has came; nurses prep me for the operation and pushed my bed to the OT. Hubby joined me in the OT. Thought of taking pictures/recording videos, but TMC's policy doesn't allow it. I'm sure I won't watch it though, but I just want to keep it for the babies' memory :p The operation started at 11am.

The procedure started with the anaes giving me spinal injection (local anaes) and inserting branula on me. Hubby was by my side, trying to keep me calm. I didn't know when the doctor started to cut me open. There's one time I felt hard to breath and I thought it's normal, so I just bear with it. Then the anaes asked me, "can you breath?" only then I told her the situation. She inserted the liquid i-dont-know-what and immediately I felt so much better. I think it's morphine? no? I started to feel itchy on my face and arms after she inserted the liquid. I kept on scratching my face and can't focus to what my husband said and what's happening on my tummy :p

At 11.35am, baby Aydina is out (2.3kg), followed by her little brothers Aysar @11.36am (2.31kg) and Aydan @11.37am (1.47kg).

Triplet #1

Triplet #2

Triplet #3
He was put in the incubator in NICU to regulate his body
temperature since he was born with low weight, 1.47kg.

9 Oct 2015 : 35 weeks - 23rd Oct it is

At this time, dr Arifah told me that there's no significant growth of the babies since last week. So she suggested to choose for earlier date, perhaps 23rd Oct. The longer I hold the babies might also not good as I will be exposed to other risks such as stillbirth (since there's no more space for babies to grow in my tummy).

I will be at 37weeks 1day by that time, it means that the babies are already term and I'm pretty much safe from other risks raised from premature babies.

1 Oct 2015 : 34 weeks - Weekly checkup begins

I'm now at 34 weeks and started my weekly checkup with Dr. Arifah. So far all three babies already >1kg (1.8kg, 1.77kg, 1.19kg). I always pray that the babies will reach at least 2kg at the time of labour. I also pray that the babies will not born pre-maturely and no need to be in the incubator when they born.

During this checkup, we have selected a date for the planned LSCS; on Friday 30th Oct (at 38 gestational weeks) since I still look okay at that time without any signs of labour. However, if there's contraction, I need to go to emergency dept to go for immediate surgery. All this while, I thought an "emergency c-sect" is when u failed to have normal vaginal delivery and have to go for c-sect at that instance. I thought it won't be "emergency c-sect" for my case since I already opted for c-sect delivery. Apparently, there's still chance of going to emergency c-sect if I have labour signs earlier than the planned date. What I'm not happy about emergency c-sect is because the charges are almost double than a planned c-sect. Let alone I'm carrying triplets, so I have to foresee all these things coz we're talking about private hospital charges.

24 Sept 2015 : 33 weeks - Raya Haji

This Raya haji should be hubby's turn to go back to SP (we had Raya Puasa at Melaka before this) but due to my pregnancy condition, I'm not advised to travel far especially long sitting in the car will hurt my back and pinggang. So we decided to just stay in KL and balik Serdang to visit my parents. Suddenly sis invited us to join them beraya at their place; that sounds like a plan to us.

The night before Raya, I got a sad news from kampung in Melaka, my Pak Lang passed away and will be buried on the next day (after solat Raya). The last time I met him was during Raya Puasa at Melaka. I can't go back to Melaka (again, due to my condition) and my parents in Serdang decided to go back to Melaka to pay last respect to Pak Lang. So I have to cancel my plan to singgah beraya at Serdang coz nobody will be there.

Burial ceremony in Melaka.. I lost a very kind uncle T_T

On the Raya day, we prayed at the musolla nearest to our house. This time I brought bibik along since she'll be alone at home and it's Raya.  She cried after the prayer and salam me like she owes so much to me. Then we headed to Hartamas to join sis n family celebrates Raya. I cooked kuah lodeh and eat together with them. Twas quite happening, sis' adik2 also came...Kak Ninie & family, adik2 Amir Fazly, and Encik Sotong were there to Raya with us.

Twins!

Oops...the clothes makes me look big :p
People usually tell me that my tummy is small for triplets
After melantak sampai kekenyangan, we went to Aunty Zahnim's house for a visit. That's a gathering place during raya where you will meet uncles, aunties, and cousins. Then we balik rumah and continue doing routines... ;D I was actually scared if I eat so much till my babies grow so big and ready for early labour :'|

19 Aug 2015 : 27+ weeks - Welcoming our new maid

Sustrisni is her name (I call her Bik Eni), 39yo wife and mother to a 22yo son. I told her beforehand that her tasks will be babysitting my triplets who will born in late Oct. She is desperately looking for job to pay for her son's college fees, and she agreed to my condition. For the time being, her routine is quite relax coz the triplets are still in my tummy :p

I think she can handle my babies well coz she was a kindy headmistress back in her hometown. and to my surprise, she has a degree in children education, she's an educated maid I suppose.

30 June 2015 : 20 weeks - Detailed Scan at TMC

I scheduled my 20w checkup with Dr. Arifah from Tropicana Medical Center. This time, a sonographer will do the detailed scan on me. We are so excited (...and nervous :D ) to know the babies' gender. We pray that our babies grow healthily without any complications.

Someone is waving at us ;) Hi my baby!
The results are, we have 2 boys and 1 girl! Alhamdulillah... I've been praying that I will have a mixed-gender triplets and Allah answered my wish :')

At this stage, my babies' weight are 347g, 344g, and 295g.

I kept my pregnancy news from friends and colleagues coz I was scared of the complications when the time comes closer to giving birth the triplets and I also don't want to stressed out about it. The most I told them was I'm pregnant, just that ;).

When people know I'm carrying triplets, of course they are super excited. However, the risks of carrying triplets worry me more than the excitement, thus I don't tell many about my triplets pregnancy. So the question I usually avoid is, "What's the baby gender?", coz eventually I have to tell that there are not just one baby :P

15 June 2015 : 19 weeks - Trip to Pangkor Laut

It's been a long time since our last vacation so I decided to have a short getaway somewhere locally. I've been seeing spectacular view at Pangkor Laut Resort from friends' pictures so I was planning to bring my husband there; as a belated birthday treat ;) I was about 5-month pregnant at that time and I still able to enjoy the trip.

Initial plan was just for two of us; I already booked the hotel there and applied for leave (as that was the only week left with cheaper rate before Ramadhan starts). I took the Residents' package which comes with meal onboard and free boat transfer. I calculated if I don't take the package, the cost will be more expensive as the meal there is not cheap, and the boat transfer (two-ways) alone is already RM320 for two of us. I booked the cheapest available room - Garden Villa; cheap because it's with the least privacy I think? Then husband was thinking to ask mama & papa if they want to join us; as mama will finish her exam the week before the trip. It's a good time to unwind right?

On the first day, we went for a short trip around Pangkor Island in the morning.

We were at Dutch Fort, Pangkor Island

After finished our short tour in Pangkor Island, we took a ferry back to Marina Island and get ready to board a boat to Pangkor Laut.

Pama & Mama's room (Beach Villa).
I gatal2 requested for a surprise wedding anniversary decorations so here it is!
...and my room (Garden Villa upgraded to Sea Villa)!
This one I requested for husband's belated birthday surprise :p
Yeah, the trip is actually my treat for him.
Our first meal after arrived there at Uncle Lim's Kitchen.
The food is undoubtedly delicious ;)
Morning view from my room :) Superbly spectacular!
Jungle Walk with Resident Naturalist (included in the package)
Some pictures during the Jungle Walk:

with other tourists
the finishing line is at Emerald Bay
I was 5-month pregnant and carrying triplets,
I survived 500m jungle walk :D
We had lunch at Chapman's, overlooking Emerald Bay
Posing at Emerald Bay ;)
Mak Buyung was dipping into the sea :p

Our last day there; waiting for boat transfer back to Marina Island

Some pictures for memory. Did you see my tummy now?

We left the island with heavy hearts....

We had a pleasant stay there with good food and good company. Totally worth it. I can't come back coz the room policy there doesn't allow more than 1 child/room. Even worse, the room that I stayed (Sea Villa) only allows 2 adults >12 years old. And obviously I'll have 3 babies when I give birth the triplets :D

Some food-porn during our 3D2N stay at Pangkor Laut Resort:

....till then Pangkor Laut!
