29 Feb 2016 - A day to remember

It's my last day serving my company, after 3 years of hardwork and enjoyable moments. I really enjoyed working there simply because the career progress is fast-paced and most of the colleagues are really smart young people and top students from top overseas univ. There are managers at the age of 26 with 5 digits salary, you won't be surprised. The age group of colleagues are around 23 to 30+, hardly seen 40yo colleague, except for SM, MD positions.

Working at client site has been very luxurious, and sometimes busy. I'm lucky cz I didn't work with the client with heavy workloads where I have to stay overnight doing work.

In this company, I'm pretty much deployed to project, so 1 person is only chargeable to 1 project (except for manager position). This is different from my first company whereas I worked at base office everyday and always travel from office to client's site. In my first company, 1 person can be chargeable to more than 1 project.

And this is the end of my career in this company. I left not because of unhappy of something, It's just because there are slowdown in projects especially in O&G sector. I'm assigned to O&G client, thus I can see where am I getting to. It left me idle for few months plus my 3-months maternity leave. So I'm seeking for a place that can accelerate my career coz obviously I'm not getting any younger and my family commitments are getting bigger with the triplets and 2 maids.

19 Feb 2016 - SAHM?

My babies turned 4 months old yesterday. I've been observing their development since I'm pretty much at home all day. With that being said, let me clarify here, I'm not yet a Stay-At-Home-Mom coz I'm still employed. It's just that my flexi work nature let me be at home and be there for my babies. Right, it's like what I wished earlier; to closely monitor the babies up until they are 6mo only then I'm confident to hand them over to the maids when I'm out for work. It's just 2 months left before their first solid food and I'm excited about it! (drumroll)

There are many things to accomplish especially during this economy downturn. I prefer to stay employed so that I can support our family financial, cz we have triplets! For me, if I'm working, my husband & I will have more savings for our retirement and the triplets' future. If I'm just a SAHM, my husband have to bear all the expenses including my commitments. It's just as simple as that. And we are still young, there are a lot of things we can contribute to the nation as much as for our self-development. I'm now still looking for other opportunity outside cz my current role is badly affected by oil & gas business uncertainties.

And today....I will have my career discussion with the HR & MD.

20 Dec 2015 - Back in KL

Today is the last day the babies are staying in Sungai Petani. The perks of staying here are the foods and goods, as well as hospital/clinic service are cheap (at least somewhat cheaper than in KL). I enjoyed my confinement period there and I appreciate my parents-in-law help taking care of the babies before I got my second maid.

We have just arrived at our home sweet home!

The 4/5-hour journey was smooth though we were expecting heavy traffic as it's the end of long weekend and also school holiday. Babies were okay along the trip and we only stopped once at a small R&R (Gunung Semanggol if I'm not mistaken). Alhamdulillah, we are back at our home after leaving the house for about 4 months.

25 Nov 2015 - Babies dah botak

Jeng3... Harini cukur jambul babies. Buat sendiri2 je, no formal event.

Comel tak? 😁

23 Nov 2015 - Triplets are 1 month old! So we opened their Tabung Haji account...

We set 1 month as the milestone for us to open Tabung Haji account for my babies and at the same time register for their haji...

Nasib baik nama babies pendek, senang papanya isi forms ;p
Look there, 'tahun peruntukan haji' for my kids is 2091...😅😅😅

18 Nov 2015 - Aydan is finally 1.82 kg and out of hospital!

Being the mother of triplets, I seldom visit Aydan since I also have the other two babies to take care of at home. While at home, I kept on stocking up breastmilk for Aydan to be sent to hospital when I visit him once in every 2-3 days. Husband n I noticed that when we didn't visit and just gave a call to hospital to ask for his current weight, he didn't gain much. So yeah, human touch and love can promote baby's growth especially when they are premature or need special care.

When we visited Aydan, his weight increased from 1.62kg to 1.69kg...then when we didn't, his weight was up and down in between 1.69-1.68kg..then when we came again, the next day when he was due for weighing, he was 1.7+kg, then he gained more till 1.82kg on the day he was discharged.

9 Nov 2015 - TAWAS

On this date, I went to Yayasan Warisan Anak Selangor office in Shah Alam to register my babies under TAWAS (Tabung Warisan Anak Selangor) program. Each registered baby will get the benefit of RM1500 when they reach 18yo. Well...free money from govt (...Selangor govt to be specific), who don't want?

As usual, I have to fill in 3 forms, attach supporting documents and submit over the counter. Nasib baik we kept our babies' names simple, so it saves our times filling up any forms for lifetime. yeah, I'm that practical...hahah!

Upon successful registration, they will give a hardcopy statement which stated the RM1500 that our kids are entitled to when they reach 18yo. This is for your safekeeping in case you forgot about TAWAS registration after 18 years down the road...

After about 1 month, they called me to go to their office again to collect 'Si Manja TAWAS' cards.. Here is how they look like...

So that's about it. More info can be found at their official website.
